We only work with reclaimed RECYCLED FURS and we specialize in recycling furs to create cherished keepsakes.

The process it takes to make each bear is quite time consuming, however we continue to make our bears with the same detail and care as when we started almost 20 years ago.

We start by preparing and cleaning all of the fur.    Then, the lining is removed from the vintage coat or stole and inspected for wear or tears in the fur.  Since all of our bears are made from recycled vintage fur, there are often imperfections, but these imperfections add to their charm and personality. Each piece of the fur is individually hand cut for quality and basted to a durable lining that reinforces the seams and ensures that all of our bears can withstand many years of vigorous hugging.

Every one of our adorable teddy bears is stuffed with great care by hand for life-like movement and feel. Once the safety eyes and nose are added, the bear begins to take on a personality of its own. The hand sculpted face adds a charming finishing touch to each individual teddy bear.
